FAQ
Booked a session? Here's what tends to come up — answered up front so you can stop worrying about it.
- 01
Where do I come?
Studio sessions are at my home studio in The Hague (full address goes out with the booking confirmation). On-location sessions are wherever we agree — at your place, in a spot that means something to you, or somewhere we scout together.
- 02
Parking?
Free street parking is usually available within a few minutes of the studio. If parking is paid in your area, we'll plan accordingly.
- 03
What should I wear?
Bring more than you think you need. Two or three options for the short session, more for longer shoots. Solid colours photograph well; busy patterns and large logos less so. If we've talked beforehand about a specific look, follow that.
Don't overthink it — I'd rather we figure it out together at the start than have you stress in advance.
- 04
Make-up?
For most portraits, your everyday look is fine. For fashion or editorial work, a small amount of base coverage helps under studio light. Professional make-up is your call — happy to recommend a stylist if you'd like one.
- 05
Can I bring someone?
Yes. A friend, partner, or assistant is welcome. No pets, please — not in the studio and not on location.
- 06
Food, drinks, breaks?
Water and coffee at the studio. For longer sessions I'll suggest a break halfway. Bring snacks if you need them.
- 07
Music?
Yes, your own. Send me a Spotify playlist beforehand or just open one on your phone when you arrive.
- 08
How does the photo selection work?
After the shoot, you get an online gallery (usually within 2-3 weeks). You pick favourites, and I deliver high-res, edited versions of those. Number of edits depends on the package.
- 09
Can I get a few previews sooner?
Yes — within a few days I'll send one or two teasers so you have something to live with while I edit the rest.
- 10
Anything I forgot to ask?
WhatsApp me. Easier than email and I'll usually reply within the day.
